An Engaging Tale

In the fall of 2009 I was sure that I wanted to ask Rosita to marry me. However, it seems that finding the right moment is imperative. And, since Rosa was living in Boston, my opportunities to pop the question were fairly limited.

I found a perfect opportunity while we were on the seven mile bridge to Key West. The light was perfect. The water was clear and dappled with emerald. Unfortunately, I was sadly ring less at the moment. That, combined with the fact that it is very difficult to kneel in the car made it hard to propose. Yes, the kneel and the ring would have to wait.

In November I underwent surgery for Appendicitis. Rosita flew down to help me while I was in the hospital. After my stay in the hospital I was rather sore. However, I was determined to make the effort to kneel. I gave her the ring and asked her to be my wife. We both had tears in our eyes.
